Environmental Awareness through Photography

Essex County Nature Photographers is a photography club dedicated to capturing the beauty of nature through the medium of photography.  All photographers from beginners to the more advanced are welcome to join, and all forms of photography are encouraged – from film and/or slides to digital, both DSLR and point and shoot, as well as medium and large format.

Monthly meetings are open to the public and give members and guests the opportunity to learn from some of the best photographers in New Jersey with expertise in specific areas of nature photography.  Special meetings are also held throughout the year for members to share their work.  Additional activities such as workshops and field trips to locations in and around New Jersey are available to members only.

Mission Statement

Promote the art and science of nature photography as a medium of communication for nature appreciation and environmental protection 

Provide education and inspiration, gather and disseminate relative information and maintain high ethical standards for all persons interested in the field of nature and outdoor photography
